Saw my picture in the March "Gold Prospectors"

Thumbing through the new GPPA magazine and there I was. :ok:

No I'm not related to the babe on the front cover in any way I would know about. :111:

Couple good articles in this issue, if you're not a member, look for it in the better news stands. One on cleaning coins (something I'd go easy on) and another on the feature article from the cover story.

I don't know if I'd admit to that... most of the people I see in there are ugly!

Maybe I'll get my copy in the mail today.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! :111:

I'm not fat, bald or real ugly and I smile a lot. Makes me look better.
It did surprise me to see our group picture there, never the less. I'm on the opposite side from the guy with the dog, least I think that's a dog!

You guys are so kind!

Actually, Mom always told me I was handsome.

My wife's grandmother came right out and told me different. She told me I was good looking, but my brother was handsome. Coldest women I ever knew. I think she never forgave me for marrying her granddaughter who was living with her at the time we got married. Guess she thought her granddaughter was going to live with her forever. I think she repented before she died because I finally won her over.

I know Alyssa and her husband Chris (not me). She is the gal on the cover. I got to see and hold the 2 ounce nugget that was the topic of the cover.
Very Nice!

They are both good folks.

Thanks for that info. "They are both good folks." That is true of a lot of the people I run into in the GPAA. That nugget is awesome! About all we end up finding here in Ohio is flakes when they are larger than the normal flour size.

The group picture is of our chapter. I about fell off my chair when I opened it up and saw myself. I always have to check out the picture page.

The real interesting thing about the down to earth look of the chapter pics is many of the people only look kind of like hillbillies, many are highly educated, intelligent people, who just love the hobby and will talk for hours about where they go etc.
